Why Is The King James Bible The Word of God?

Sharing is Caring!

Why is the Authorized Version of the Bible the True Word of God?

Today, there are many other versions of the Bible in circulation, so why is King James Bible, the word of God? Why is the Authorized Version of the Bible the true word of God?

There are many new and young Christians, and I know quite a few seasoned Christians, who need the answer to this question.

So, watch this short Bible study to the end as I answer this question.

My name is Leroy Daley! Welcome to my blog. On this website, I utilize the Word of God to teach the Word of God.

I do not teach my opinions. I use scriptures, here a little, there a little, line upon line, precept on precept to explain the Word of God.

Precepts must be on other identical precepts or else we will have confusion.
So today, in this Bible study, I will not attempt to explain the history of the King James Bible or how it was printed or what it experienced.

Is The King James Bible The Perfect Word of God?

Instead, I will demonstrate why it is the perfect Word of God. The King James Bible is the complete Word of God.

So at the end of this Bible study, I want you to realize that despite how the Bible started, how it was published and printed, what it experienced, it is indeed the version or translation of the Bible that the Lord is pleased with and that is key.

If the Lord is pleased with it, that’s the end of the story, no discussion, no debate.

Is the King James Bible the Original?

Nevertheless, a short background is necessary at this juncture.

So what is the King James Bible? It is the version of the Word of God that the Lord is pleased with.

The King James Version (KJV) or Authorized Version or King James Bible is the English translation of the Bible.

It was published in 1611 and authorized by King James The First of England, thus we have the Authorized Version.

The Lord was not happy with all the English Bibles that were in circulation prior to King James The First.

Consequently, I want you to understand that if He were happy with all those English Bibles before King James came on the scene, we wouldn’t have had the King James Version of the Bible.

The Lord would have allowed the status quo to continue as it were, but he changed it. Let’s go to a scripture.

I’m going to read from (Daniel 4:17).

Consequently, I want you to understand “that the most High ruleth in the kingdom of men, and giveth it to whomever He will and setteth up over it the basest of men” (Daniel 4:17, 25, 32 and 5:21).

And this is not my political statement of our current political leadership, this is just the true Word of God.

What is the Best Translation of the Bible in English?

In 1611, soon after James’s coronation as King of England, at a conference for the clergy, they made a request of him to revise the English Bible because “existing translations were corrupted and not answerable to the truth of the original.”

Above, Britannica makes it clear that church leaders were dissatisfied with the then-current Bible.

So these church leaders were not pleased with all the other English translations that were in circulation.

They were not accurate, they were corrupted and they were tools for the monarchy.

What Does the Lord do When He Requires a Leader?

When the Lord needs a leader for his people, what does he do? He placed that desire into the heart of Moses to lead his people Israel from Egypt, out of slavery, into the promised land.

What Does God do When he Requires a Temple?

Now, he places that desire into the heart of David, his servant to build him a house for his name. But because David was a man of war and shed blood, the Lord wouldn’t allow him to build him a temple.

The Lord will place a seed or the Word of God into your heart and later it will bear fruits.

Instead, the Lord allowed David’s son who was also a King, King Solomon, to build a temple for the name of the Lord. This is important you know, we can see references of these in (2 Samuel 7:13) and (2 Chronicles 6:8).

When the Lord Requires a Wall, What Does He Do?

He placed that desire into the heart of Nehemiah to rebuild the broken down walls of Jerusalem. And you can read (Nehemiah 2:12).

What Does God do When He Requires a True Bible for the Remainder of the World?

He places that desire into King James’s heart and King James approved, authorized, and supported the revision of the Bible, which we now have as the King James Bible.

The Jews had their Bible in Hebrew, but the remainder of the world had nothing.

So this was unacceptable to the Lord because the Jews had their Bible, which was in Hebrew. But the rest of the world didn’t have any Word of God that was pleasing to the Lord.

There were many other translations out there. The Lord wasn’t pleased with them. Therefore he introduced The King James Bible.

Yes, the Lord introduced it. The timing for the King James Bible was impeccable and there was a need for one.

The Gentiles Did Not Have The Word of God

The Roman Catholic church had a Bible that was locked up in an old and dead language, Latin.

But that Bible was inaccessible to the masses of people for two reasons. First, you had to be in the Roman Catholic Church to have access to that Bible.

And secondly, you had to be able to understand and speak Latin. And in both cases, the masses of people did not have access to any of these.

They didn’t have access to the church and they couldn’t read nor understand Latin.

So they didn’t have the Word of God. The Roman Catholic church had it locked away, so the general people couldn’t access the Word of God for themselves.

The church could tell them whatever they want because it was, they had the word of God locked away in Latin.

Conclusion

Why is the King James Bible the Best?

So, to conclude this short study. God is a Spirit (John 4:24). He is in control of all our affairs in the universe.

Nothing happens to us that he doesn’t know about. And nothing happens to us that God isn’t aware of or approve of.

Anything that befalls us, the Lord approves it, or it couldn’t happen, because he’s in charge! He is God.

That means that there must have been something we didn’t do or we were out of line why we experienced some unpleasant things.

Like in the Old Testament, the Lord utilized Prophets or Kings to get things done.

He made maximum use of the Prophet Moses to lead his people Israel from slavery in Egypt.

The Lord also utilized a King, David’s son, King Solomon, to build a temple for his name. There was a need for a wall around Jerusalem so he utilized Nehemiah and Nehemiah’s employer who was a King to build that wall.

What did the Lord do when he needed a Bible for all Gentiles? He operated through King James The First.

As a result, he achieved his heart’s desire through King James’ need to leave his mark on the world. Thus, King James supported and authorized the revision and publication of the King James Bible.

Was the King preparing the Bible for the bride of Christ? What do you think?

Why is King James on the Bible?

The Lord is a fixed principle. He is the same yesterday, today, forever. He does not change. To achieve deliverance, the construction of his temple, the building of the walls of Jerusalem and the publication of his Word, He operated through Prophets and Kings.

So, why would he operate differently now, to get his word out, or published? He won’t.

The Lord worked once through King James The First and finished his work, the King James Bible.

Therefore reject all subsequent efforts by everybody to produce an up to date and recent Bible.

They’re always trying to perfect the Word of God, but the Word of God is already perfect.

The Lord God is Not In Them

So in this light, reject the Mormon’s Bible, the Jehovah’s Witnesses Bible and reject any Bible that says “Catholic Edition. Reject any approved “Catholic Edition” Bible, because the Lord is not in them.

Reject also such works as the Good News Bible and the New American Bible Revised Edition (NABRE).

The NABRE’s Old Testament was completely revised in 2011. So if somebody has a NAB from say 1990s, it’s not the same as the one that was published in 2011, but King James remains the same.

No more revision or changes, either you understand it or you don’t. All these subsequent ones are attempting to undo what God has already done, but they all will fail, reject them.

They are not Prophets or Kings!

They will face the Lord Jesus Christ on judgment day for persecuting the Church!

Do You Own a Paper King James Bible?

Bloggers utilize affiliate links in their content and in this respect I’m not different.

Here is a link to my Disclaimer. It will provide more information in this respect.

Now, in closing, I want you to go online and compare the different versions of the English Bible available today.

And to do this, read a chapter from the KJV and read the identical chapter from at least three other translations and note the differences.

Comment on your findings in the comment section below this video.

Finally, It is said that often it’s possible to get a better sense of what’s been said in a passage by comparing different translations, but that is a myth.

Don’t compare translations to get clarity. It doesn’t clear up anything. It doesn’t work, for no two translations agree, they’re super contradictory.

Clarity or illumination of the Holy Scriptures comes to us only through the Holy Ghost or someone that God is using.

As I promised, the following link is an affiliate one.

Stick with the KJV and purchase a paper “version” of this Bible. (This is an affiliate link.)

You will need a paper-Bible for more personalized Bible Studies.

God bless you. Thank you for stopping by. The blessings of the Lord be on you.
Peace.
