The Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost

The Godhead – I Don’t Understand it!

Sharing is Caring!

What is the Godhead?

Recently, I received an email from one of the readers of BATW concerning the Godhead.

In part, she writes “I don’t believe the Holy Ghost, the Father and Son are all the same person because the Son doesn’t know when he is coming only God does” (Matthew 24:36).

I’m addressing her concern publicly because I suspect many other readers may have similar worries.

This effort will aid all with similar fears.

Her concern requires knowledge of the Godhead. And many who replica rolex oyster perpetual rolex calibre 2836 2813 m126000 0001 unisex hands and markers china teach on it are not qualified to do so. Thus they dirty the already muddied waters.

The Godhead summaries the only three roles of the Almighty Lord God. They are the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost.

Who understands these roles of the Lord God?

No Unbeliever understands the Holy Bible. The Lord God gives the perception of Himself only to Believers.

Additionally, we must search the Scriptures daily for the revelation of the Godhead. It’s a mystery (Mark 4:11).

It’s not automatic. It’s not like we become Christians and instantly we understand it! That’s far from the truth.

Thus, many pastors and other spiritual νέο Βρώσιμα Cbd leaders and Believers grapple with the comprehension of God. They cannot perceive the Godhead.

But we must realize that understanding the Godhead must come from Him,(Psalm 36:9).

Our opinions and beliefs don’t sway God. They don’t change the immutable Word of God.

Understand the Kingdom of God and you will Comprehend This

Jesus explains to a Jewish leader what must happen before he comprehends the Godhead. So, the same is true for all.

Jesus informs Nicodemus, “Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God” (John 3:3).

The word “see”, as used in the verse-of-scripture above, means perceive or understand. Here are a few examples.

Observe how Samuel, the Prophet of God, skillfully uses “see” as a synonym for “perceive”.

He asks, “Is it not wheat harvest [today]? I will call unto the LORD, and he shall send thunder and rain; that ye may perceive and see that your wickedness is great, which ye have done in the sight of the LORD, in asking you a king” (1 Samuel 12:17; 14:38; 2 Sam 24:13).

Continue to read to discover how Job collaborates Samuels usage of “see” to mean “perceive”.

The former explains, “Lo, he goeth by me, and I see him not: he passeth on also, but I perceive him not” (Job 9:11).

Job too informs us that to see, in many instances in the Bible, means to understand.

What Does this Prophet Say About the Godhead?

Next, let’s scrutinize what the great prophet of God, Isaiah, says about the Godhead.

He too explains that there’s no dichotomy between seeing and understanding.

Go, and tell this people, Hear ye indeed, but understand not; and see ye indeed, but perceive not” (Isaiah 6:9).

To see is to perceive!

Thus, to see not only means to perceive but also to know.

Again, Isaiah assists us in this regard.

He says, “That they may see, and know, and consider, and understand together, that the hand of the LORD hath done this, and the Holy One of Israel hath created it” (Isaiah 41:20).

When there is a seeing there is an understanding.

They have not known nor understood: for he hath shut their eyes, that they cannot see; and their hearts, that they cannot understand” (Isaiah 44:18).

What Did Jesus Say About the Godhead?

Finally, let’s hear what Jesus has to say about the Godhead?

He tells us that some Believers, “standing” in his presence will not die until they “see” or “understand” the Kingdom of God.

“But I tell you of a truth, there be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the kingdom of God” (Luke 9:27).

When we read this Scripture, we should keep in mind that the “kingdom of God” is within us and invisible (Luke 17:20 -21). It’s spiritual!

Therefore, we cannot comprehend the Godhead, or the Kingdom of God, or all that is pertinent to His domain, unless we are born-again.

Nevertheless, we will never understand the Godhead unless we are born-again according to the true Word of God and not according to man’s opinions.

The Kingdom of God and These!

We have been looking at the Godhead, yet I mentioned the Kingdom of God. There’s no Godhead unless there is the Kingdom of God. They may appear as two separate and distinct things but they are one and the same.

If there is no Father, Son, or Holy Ghost then there is no Kingdom of God. At what time we understand each, we comprehend the role and the workings of the Kingdom of God.

Thus, Jesus explains when we “see” or understand the Godhead and when we “enter” into His kingdom (John 3:3-6).

Therefore, if you desire to become a Christian, focus on believing in Jesus Christ. Commence your walk with him. And when you start that journey, you will not understand everything about him and or the Bible.

But walk by faith. Seek him and grow in the knowledge of God and Christ. Don’t walk by your knowledge but by your faith. Because as we travel with him and continue to seek to know him, he will reveal himself and his words to us (Jeremiah 33:3).

Seek God by praying and fasting and daily Bible reading and searching.

We must walk in the knowledge of God and Christ. However, that by itself does not save us from eternal damnation. It’s our faith that Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of God that will save us.

And this will grant us eternal life even if we don’t comprehend the Godhead.

Believe in God by believing in His Son, Jesus Christ.

For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily” (Colossians 2:9).

And His Holy Ghost will teach us and bring everything to our remembrance.

Is the Godhead active in your life?
