The Holy Ghost, the Father, and the Son are they the Same Person?

Differences Among the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost

I don’t believe the Holy Ghost, the Father and Son are all the same person because the Son doesn’t know when he is coming only God does“. (Matthew 24:36)

Indeed the Holy Ghost, the Father, and the Son are not the same person.

The Holy Ghost and Father is a Spirit (John 4:24). The Son, Jesus Christ, is the only person of these three.

The relationship of Father, Son, and Holy Ghost describes the Godhead. This is an advanced topic for spiritually mature born-again Believers.

Consequently, it’s not for new believers or unsaved people.

Most Christians will not possess all the answers to all the questions concerning the Bible and God and Jesus Christ.

As we come to God we will not possess all knowledge of all things. But our Christian walk is one of faith, not knowledge.

What is the Difference Between the Father and the Son?

So, let’s start our journey with the foundation, that’s faith in the Son of God, then build knowledge and patience on it and we will grow.

Seek to grow in the knowledge of God and Christ daily. Growth is not automatic. We must desire and seek it.

For this reason, Jesus didn’t teach his leaders about the Godhead. They learn of Him through apostles and prophets like Peter, Paul, and James. The Lord used them to teach the Church.

Furthermore, secular people who write about the Godhead, through their collective efforts they only muddied the already murky spiritual waters.

This is not a topic for people who are not born-again or unbelievers.

Place First Things First!

This is effectively putting the cart before the horse.

First, establish your faith in the Lord God through a belief in Jesus Christ as the Son of God.

Then as you grow in faith, seek, and search the Scriptures daily for the comprehension of the oneness of God, the Godhead.

Finally, it’s then and only then that the Lord will reveal Himself to you. He doesn’t reveal Himself to anyone who doesn’t believe in Him via Jesus Christ (Hebrews 11:6).

Similarly, He doesn’t reveal Himself to “Christians” who don’t seek Him (Hebrews 11:6).

However, in time the Lord will reveal Himself to you.
