In Support of Same-Sex Marriage

On Tuesday, May 8, 2012, President Obama participated in an interview with ABC’s Robin Roberts, of “Good Morning America” in the Cabinet Room of the White House. During the interview, President Barack Obama affirmed his support for same-sex marriage. This decision was his most defining decision as President of the United States of America and as a Christian. He is the first incumbent President of the U.S.A. to support publicly same-sex marriage.

“If you would have told me five years ago that a sitting President of the United States would publicly express the right of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) citizens to marry, and for full equality for our families, I would not have believed it,” Senator Thomas Duane, D-Manhattan said.

Bill Clinton as the forty-second President of the U.S.A. showed his opposition to same-sex marriage by signing the Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA), which legally defined marriage as a union between a man and a woman.

President George W. Bush showed his support for President Clinton’s stance through a Federal Marriage Amendment. “As a result of these two bills the United States government does not officially recognize the union of same-sex marriages.

Now, with President Obama’s open declaration of support for same-sex marriage the law of the country could change. I am not stating it will change now or anytime soon but I am saying it makes it easier now to change the law defining marriage.

Then President George W. Bush amended the law with his bill and President Obama can do the same to reflect the new evolution of his views on same-sex marriage.

President Obama’s open support of same-sex marriage marks his most defining decision as President of the U.S.A. Many may think his decision to hunt and kill Osama Bill Laden is his most defining decision as President because 911 caused so much death and devastation.

One of President Obama’s chief roles mitigate likelihood of same-sex marriage ….

However, the Bill Laden assassination did not define President Obama’s position with God. By his open declaration of supporting for same-sex marriage President Obama public denounced the Lord God by rejecting His Words. President Obama publicly declared he is a Christian. However, by his public support of a lifestyle contrary to the Word of God he demonstrated he was only paying lip service to Christianity.

As a self-proclaimed Christian one of President Obama’s chief roles was to prevent, mitigate or eradicate the likelihood of same-sex marriage ever becoming law in U.S.A.

Owing to King Rehoboam’s tolerance of homosexuality the Lord described the lifestyle of the people of The Tribe of Judah as “evil”. For his tolerance of the “sodomites”, the Lord punished both the king and his people, 2 Kings 14:21-31.

King Rehoboam’s role was to remove the homosexuals from “the land” he failed and it defined his kingdom.

However, King Asa discouraged homosexuality in his kingdom and God honored him, 1 Kings 15:11-12 and 1 Kings 22:46.

This does not suggest that President Obama or any other president should “remove” homosexuals in any way. One of his roles as a Christian in power and authority is to prevent ungodly laws, which oppose God, from materializing. He fights this by implementing Godly laws to promote lifestyles in accordance with the Word of God.

Christians everywhere know that President Obama’s support for same-sex marriage has unleashed a new wave of diabolical spirit. It is spirit of hope for the infestation of homosexual “families” and their life style.

President Obama’s Support For Same-Sex Marriage Was His Most Defining Decision

This could mean homosexuals from everywhere want to come to U.S.A. because they can live their abominable lifestyle under the protection of the law of the land. It could also mean leaders of other countries may see hope for them to show their support for this devilish way of life in their country in a similar or more tangible manner.

Finally, President Obama’s decision should mean for Christians everywhere is this, begin to teach your children the Word of God soon after birth. They may not understand it at first but continue to ensure you are their first teachers of God’s Word. Eventually the Word will take root and grow. If  you have begun teaching them continue to do so.

Teach all your children (young or mature) the way of God. Teach them that God made man and He made a woman for a man. Teach them that ungodly men (and women) attempt to pervert God’s way by pursuing their carnal desires. One of  the ways this perversion is accomplished is when same-sex people live together as man and as woman.

Teach your children that a family, according to the Word of God, which is the ultimate law of any country, is a man, his wife or wives depending on the country, and child or children of that couple. There is no family, which consist of two moms or two dads and child or children that is rebellion against God’s Word, “abomination”. They want to eat their cake and still have it! Same-sex marriage contravenssame-sex the Word of God.

Teach your children, that they cannot rebel against God’s Words and be in good standing with Him because by refusing to obey His written Word they reject Him.

In closing, President Obama’s support for same-sex marriagesame-sex was his most defining decision because it will determine whether he continues as President of the United States and it demonstrates that he is not whom he claims to be, a Christian. His decision on same-sex marriage defines him as first incumbent President of U.S.A. to support LGBT and the first black President to do so; it defines his position with the Lord God for this decision places him in opposition to God and it also defines him as a person.

There are many people in U.S.A. who will vote against him for this decision including, Republicans, Democrats, Christians and non-Christians who hold the institution of marriage sacred, according to the Word of God, as a union ONLY between a man and a woman.
