The Lord Jesus Christ – All Things New
The Lord Jesus Christ in a final move permanent imprisoned Satan, judged and sentenced the unbelieving dead to the Lake of Fire thus ushered in a new era. The Lord Jesus Christ indicated the end of this dispensation simply by saying “It is done”, Revelation 21:6. The end of an era is the beginning of another for Christ Jesus declares, “Behold, I make all things new”, Revelation 21:5. However, these comments from the Lord Jesus Christ indicate the start of eternity, not another epoch but the final one.

The Lord Jesus Christ Shall Make Everything New
The Lord Jesus Christ never leaves us guessing but always provides the information we need in His Word. He declares “it is done” then he tell us what is finished.
“And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away,” Revelation 21:4.
The Lord Jesus Christ declares to John there will be no more tears because our previous experiences are no more. There will be no tears because there will be no death for the Lord Jesus Christ defeated death. Seeing there will be no tears, no death neither will there be any “sorrow” or crying and subsequently, no “pain.” All our sufferings, sicknesses are done; all our sadness is done, all sins and evils are done because Satan is not free but imprisoned forever.
With this declaration from the Lord Jesus Christ “Behold, I make all things new”, everything about and concerning us will be new. How we worship and serve God will be new. He will live with us and be our God and we His people for, “God himself shall be with them, and be their God.” That is the purpose of the New Jerusalem for we shall dwell in her.
God will be in everything we do for he will be our “temple” we will not attend church, Revelation 21:22. The Lord Jesus Christ will be our light we will have need of no other lights, Revelation 21:23.
There will be no time therefore there will be no “night” only a perpetual day, Revelation21:25. All the goodness, “glory, and honour” the “nations” shall bring into the New Jerusalem.
All this will happen because there will be a “new heaven and a new earth” and no “sea.” Only the Church and those of the First Resurrection will inhabit the new earth, everyone else will be in the Lake of Fire.
In closing, hope in Jesus Christ. Are you sick now? Are you sad and unhappy? Are you crying? The Lord Jesus Christ shall make everything new for He shall wipe away all your tears and sadness, trust in Him.
