Last Supper of the Great Christ Jesus
It is rather strange that no human beings were present or invited to the last supper of the Great God, Christ Jesus. Listen to John the Divine relate what he saw:
“And I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the fowls that fly in the midst of heaven, Come and gather yourselves together unto the supper of the great God,” Revelation 19:17.
This is literal, an angel standing in the sun. He was not standing before or in front of but in the sun. Recall, angels are immortal beings, they cannot die, therefore, standing in the sun is not impossible for this angel.
The angel standing in the sun made an invitation to “all the fowls that fly in” heaven to be at the last supper of the great God. Are you wondering why no humans were invited? The bodies of humans were a part of the menu. Listen to what the angel standing in the sun said:
“That ye may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of captains, and the flesh of mighty men, and the flesh of horses, and of them that sit on them, and the flesh of all men, both free and bond, both small and great,” Revelation 19:18.
This was the only time vultures would feast on “the flesh of all men” simultaneously. They have eaten the flesh of every man before of kings, of captains, of mighty men, of all animals but not in one meal. This is the last supper of the great God, Christ Jesus, because soon there will be a new heaven and a new earth for the old ones will pass away.
“And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him that sat on the horse, and against his army,” Revelation 19:19.
The whole Earth was Gathered Together to Fight Christ Jesus
Who can make war against the Almighty God? The whole earth was “gathered together” to fight Christ Jesus with “their armies”. Among the earthly warriors were the Beast and the False Prophet. This is the reason vultures could feast on the flesh of all men “and the flesh of horses” because they were in one place making war against Christ Jesus.
Who can make war against God, Christ Jesus, and succeed? Nobody! No one for they all failed.
“And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone,” Revelation 19:20.
The Lord Jesus Christ has a special place reserved for Satan and all who obey the latter. Therefore, Christ Jesus did not kill the Beast and the False Prophet as he did all the other men but removed them to the “lake of fire”.
“And the remnant was slain with the sword of him that sat upon the horse, which sword proceeded out of his mouth: and all the fowls were filled with their flesh,” Revelation 19:21.
Christ Jesus killed the armies, “the remnant”, that were with the Beast and the False Prophet, with his sword.
Finally, observe that there is no actual description of Christ Jesus killing anyone in the Scriptures above. The Scripture only tell us the armies “were slain”. Realize too that “the sharp sword” of Christ Jesus is the Word of God. This is how Christ Jesus created the world, the heaven, all the flora and all the fauna in the earth, this is how he created man, Christ spoke and it happened.
Will You Hear the Last Call of Christ Jesus?
What war can anyone make against someone who speaks and armies of thousands of men die? Christ Jesus creates with his words and he kills with the same. Jesus Christ called dead and decaying Lazarus back to life. Christ Jesus will call all his saints, living and dead, to be with him forever, this is the Rapture.
Will you hear the last call of Christ Jesus? Only those persons, living and dead, who believed that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and obeyed his instructions for forgiveness of sins and salvation will hear the Last Trump. Do you believe Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of God? Confess all your sins to Christ and turn from your sinful ways and the Lord will forgive and receive you.
If you believe on Jesus Christ, take on his name in water baptism. Be buried in the name of Jesus Christ, by immersion, in water and you shall be saved. This is just the start of a life long journey. “Tarry” (wait) for the Holy Spirit for it is promised to all those who believed on Jesus Christ and are baptized in his name, Acts 2:32-33.
Grow in the knowledge of Jesus Christ and love others as Christ Jesus love us. Amen!
Please don’t confuse the The Lord’s Supper or the Last Supper of Jesus Christ with his Twelve Apostles with this, the last supper of Christ Jesus for they are not the same.
