Reasons Babylon Fell
“And after these things I saw another angel come down from heaven, having great power; and the earth was lightened with his glory,” Revelation 18:1.
After the angel from heaven explained to John the meaning of the vision of the rich Great Whore sitting on the Beast with seven heads he saw another angel. The second angel had “great power” the brilliance or “glory” of his power brighten the entire earth.
“And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird,” Revelation 18:2.
3 Reasons Babylon Fell
“For all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies,” Revelation 18:3.
Babylon fell , according to the Scripture above, because she indulged in global fornication and taught others to worship false gods. Babylon has led “all nations” on earth to worship Mary the mother of Jesus instead of Jesus Christ the Son of God Mary cannot make this claim. There is a Roman Catholic Church in every country on earth, which indicates how far Babylon’s influence and power has extended.
Second, why does the Scripture, above, separate “the kings” from “all nations”? Every kingdom or country must have a king. Why separate “kings” from “nations”? “Nations” represent the total and diverse nationalities of the earth. “Kings” represent the heads of governments. The heads of governments, globally, have agreed to the Great Whore’s request to address and reverence the Pope as “Holy Father”, kiss his ring and accommodate a RC in their country for political favors from the Pope. Babylon fell because she enticed and deceived the kings of the earth into her bed and lie with them because the kings have sinned the peoples of the earth have sinned too.

The third reason Babylon fell: it traded globally in the “souls of men” but used economic trade with the “merchants” or businessmen “of the earth” as decoy. The world leaders are aware of Babylon’s deception but they love money and power and fear Babylon’s power more than they desire to walk away from her devilish activities.
- “And the merchants of the earth shall weep and mourn over her; for no man buys their merchandise any more: The merchandise of gold, and silver, and precious stones, and of pearls, and fine linen, and purple, and silk, and scarlet, and all thyine wood, and all manner vessels of ivory, and all manner vessels of most precious wood, and of brass, and iron, and marble, And cinnamon, and odours, and ointments, and frankincense, and wine, and oil, and fine flour, and wheat, and beasts, and sheep, and horses, and chariots, and slaves, and souls of men,” Revelation 18:11-13.
Observe, how the block of Scripture immediately above emphasized that Babylon traded in the “souls of men”.
Babylon Fell Because Of Illicit Trade
Finally, Babylon fell because the quantum of her sins has reached the point where God says enough, is enough. A similar thing happens in our lives too. The Lord would allow us to sin and sin until He says no more. This is dangerous ground because God could cut us off instantly.
