What The Beast Represents?
Today, I will address what the beast represents and what its heads symbolize. We are still at the Seventh Angel and the “third woe”. Our main reference is Revelation 13:1-2.
“And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy,” Revelation 13:1.
The beast is very similar to the dragon of Revelation Twelve Verse Three. They both have seven heads, ten horns and crowns on their respective heads. In substance, these two beasts are the same for who else would have the “name of blasphemy” on his head but Satan. These beasts differ only in appearance.

The beast John saw was a composite of the beasts Daniel saw in his vision. The first beast Daniel saw “was like a lion”; the second “like to a bear” and the third “like a leopard”, Daniel 7:1-6. Daniel saw four beasts but only gave physical description of three; however, he described the mannerism and behavior of the fourth beast.
Daniel described the fourth beast as “dreadful and terrible, and strong exceedingly; and it had great iron teeth: it devoured and brake in pieces, and stamped the residue with the feet of it: and it was diverse from all the beasts that were before it; and it had ten horns,” Daniel 7:7.
John however, saw one beast. The three beasts Daniel saw comprised the fourth beast he saw which John saw also and described below.
“And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority,” Revelation 13:2.
The Beast Represents the Fourth and Last Kingdom of The Earth
The seven heads of the beast are seven spirits; the ten horns are ten kings wearing ten crowns and the beast represents the fourth kingdom of the earth. The beast has seven heads because Satan imitates God. The Lord has seven Spirits therefore; Satan has seven evil spirits too, which will control the beast, a political system with kings or leaders. Thus he said, The fourth beast shall be the fourth kingdom upon earth, which shall be diverse from all kingdoms, and shall devour the whole earth, and shall tread it down, and break it in pieces,” Daniel 7:23.
This beast therefore, represents a government on the earth, which will be control by Satan. Recall, Satan is not a man but the evil spirit.
Therefore, this latter beast has become the dragon for the dragon gave him “his power, and his seat, and great authority.” The beast represents the fourth and last kingdom of the earth, a super power that polices the earth.
Daniel and John the Divine described the beast as a political system in the earth
Finally, both Daniel and John the Divine described the beast, a political system in the earth, which had “power”, wealth and “great authority” which will blaspheme the Lord God. This political system will operate through a wealthy but diabolical country whose leaders are control by the spirit of evil.
The beast, or this political system, will blasphemed God through its seven heads for “upon his heads” he has the name of “blasphemy”. This means how the political system operates will blaspheme God from the seat of government downwards. However, someone must operate every political system therefore; the political leaders will also speak blasphemies against God. In closing, anticipate, therefore, that this country’s systems will operate contrary to the Word of God. Its judicial and civil systems will operate contrary to the Word of God. In that, the guilty will not be condemned to death and the innocent will be ostracized. Civil laws and others will oppose God’s Words. Expect too, such a system will operate quietly behind a facade of justice with acceptable platitudes. The Spirit of God have been have “quieted” “in the north country” because of the love of money. This country deals in the souls of men.
