Satan Persecutes Israel

How Satan Plans to Persecute Israel

How Satan does plan to persecute Israel? In our previous Revelation Bible Study we discussed who were involved in the war in heaven and why that war in heaven happened. Today, I want to spend some time discussing how Satan persecutes the mother of Jesus. Much of what John the Divine saw in his vision of heaven concerning how Satan “persecuted” Israel they have experienced and much is in the future.

The Scriptures compared Pharaoh to Satan and rightly so because he was the first pawn on Satan’s Chess Board, with a pan to persecute the woman who gave birth to Jesus Christ. This Pharaoh did for 430 years.

Not all opposition to the nation of Israel intends to persecute them. However, any nation, person or group of people that wants to exterminate the Jews is a manifestation of Satan’s desire to persecute Israel.

After Egypt, many other nations persecuted the Jews The Babylonians, and the Assyrians etc. Always bearing in mind that Satan is the evil spirit. To persecute Israel his spirit will possess powerful and wealthy leaders and utilize them to execute his plans and those leaders maybe unaware that Satan has control of them.

Are These Leaders Pawns of the Devil to Persecute Israel?

Many Christians believed Adolph Hitler was the Anti Christ. He was not but he was a powerful leader of Germany that Satan utilized fully to persecute the Jews during the 1931 – 1941 era. Many scholars estimated Hitler may have killed approximately six million European Jews . However, “the total number of Holocaust victims is between 11 million and 17 million people.” Many of us read about the death camps and Hitler’s obsession to exterminate the Jews. He called them the “filth of the earth”.

The current president of Iran, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, made repeated assertions that Israel should be “wiped out from the map.” This remark was also repeatedly made by former ayatollah of Iran. These are persecutions described in Revelation 12:13.

One protester in USA had a placard with a statement echoed by the Scriptures. It reads, “You May Have Allah on Your Tongue, But You Have Satan in Your Eyes,” describing Mahmoud Ahmadinejad’s appearance and remark to ‘wipe Israel off the map’. However, it should have read, “You Have Allah on Your Tongue Because You Have Satan in Your Heart.”

Recently, Syrian President Bashar al-Assad said, “If a crazy measure is taken against Damascus, I will need not more than 6 hours to transfer hundreds of rockets and missiles to the Golan Heights to fire them at Tel Aviv.” These leaders are pawns of the Devil to persecute Israel.

Satan is Very Angry and Determined to Persecute Anyone Remotely Connected to Israel

“And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night,” Revelation 12:10.

If the Kingdom of God did not come to earth humanity would never harness the power of Christ to defeat Satan. Through his blood the Lamb brought salvation to earth because the angry dragon was devouring everyone before him. Thank God for Jesus Christ.

“And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death,” Revelation 12:11.

Here are the keys, which lock Satan away, the blood of the Lamb, the Believers’ testimony and the Believer loving Jesus with all his heart, all his soul and with all his might. That’s victory through Jesus Christ over Satan.

Finally, Satan wanted to destroy Jesus but failed. Then he tried to eliminate the woman who gave birth to Jesus, Israel. She tried to escape in the desert but Jesus gave her wings to fly away to a safe place for a predetermined time, Revelation 12:13-16 and 12:6. This is yet to come.

The woman also escaped Satan who was very angry and “went to make war with the remnant of her seed,” Revelation 12:17. ” This is making reference to the “remnant of Israel” that is the 144, 000 who received the seal of God in their foreheads.

We have observed that Satan is very angry and determined to persecute anyone remotely connected to Israel. That includes Jesus, the Nation of Israel and the “elect” or remnant in Israel.

In closing, Jesus Christ defeated Satan when he rose from the dead. He is on overtime but he is already defeated by the Lamb. In addition, Jesus made provision for you to have victory over Satan too. Accept Jesus today as your Lord and Savior. Believe on him, accept and obey his Words, receive his Spirit and you too will have the resurrection power of the Holy Ghost to defeat the Devil through Jesus Christ.
