Jesus Christ Continues His Work
Jesus Christ Manifest to Believers
Many Believers are unaware that Jesus ascended into heaven but returned to earth shortly after to continue the work he began. Since Pentecost Christ has been commanding, healing, speaking working miracles and teaching through his disciples as the Holy Ghost.
The Holy Ghost commanded the Apostles and Elders of the Church in Jerusalem concerning the four “necessary things” for the Gentile Believers. This decision was the working of the Holy Spirit doing God’s will.
Similarly, the same Holy Ghost promoted a previous prosecutor of the Church (Saul) over a long-standing disciple (Barnabas). The Jerusalem Church did not happily receive this decision but that’s Jesus way.
Jesus continues to manifest in other areas of the disciples’ lives. It was Jesus who decided on and made the “Paul’s Missionary Journeys” with him. Every miracle that Paul and his team performed was by the Holy Ghost, the Spirit of Jesus. He was with them speaking, directing and guiding them from the start of their journey until they returned home.
Today Jesus continues to speak to his church via similar means. Unbelievably, Jesus still speaks to his Church by visions and dreams. Christ continues to speak to his people through his spoken and written words and his ministers. Has he spoken to you recently?
