Resurrection of the Dead is Real
Many persons believe death is final, physically yes, spiritually it’s the beginning. The resurrection of the dead is not a new concept. Many books, films, Bible Teachings and stories have been done about it. Many stories have been told of people who came back from the dead but what I’m about to share with you is not a story, it is for real.
Christ Showed the Church how to Achieve Resurrection of the Dead
Jesus Christ was crucified, buried and rose from the dead on the third. Jesus Christ is the first person to have come back alive from the dead and is alive today. Christ showed the Church how to achieve resurrection of the dead. Christians who are crucified and buried with Christ will also rise from the dead like he did. This is the Believers’ hope.
There are many skeptics and that’s OK because they will always be persons who don’t believe. Christ encountered many during his experiences on earth. Jesus had frequent discussions with members from two major religious sects, the Sadducee and the Pharisees. The Pharisees believed and taught the resurrection of the dead and the existence of angels, but the Sadducee denied both. Today, skeptics are appropriately grouped with the Sadducee, although these unbelievers are non-religious.
Questions And Answers About Resurrection of the Dead
There are many questions associated with the resurrection of the dead. Many of which will be answered in future postings. In this writing I will answer a few relevant questions on this subject.
- What body will resurrected persons possess?
They will not look like zombies or the walking dead or anything from the horror movie genre, with decaying, smelly flesh and worms hanging on to them. No! We shall all be changed. This mortal body that Believers have now will change to immortal ones, 1 Corinthians 15:52-54. We will possess bodies like angels, Matthew 22:30.
- Will persons who are resurrected have kids?
In the resurrection there will be no male nor female. All Believers will be like God’s angels in heaven, Matthew 22:30.
- When will the resurrection of the dead happen?
During the Rapture of the Church, 1 Thessalonians 4:16.
- What about those persons who are still alive, what will happen to them?
Born again Believers who are alive when Christ comes again will have no need for resurrection but their living bodies will be changed from mortal to immortal, 1 Thessalonians 4:13 -15.
- Will a virus enter into the bodies of the living persons and change them?
Sounds like real Sci Fi movie. No. But the same power which raised Jesus Christ from the dead lives in Christians toady that power will change both the living and dead bodies into immortal ones, Romans 8:11.
