Christ Suffer For Us


“Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures, And said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it behooved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day: And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem. And ye are witnesses of these things, ” Luke 24:45-48.

We know there is authority in using the principle: “in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth”power? Well power is a different matter. One doesn’t just receive power because he uses the principle that is in the name of Jesus Christ. Power belongs to the Lord God. God has to give you His power. This is one factor which differentiates the Lord God from all other gods, His power. He is omnipotent, there is no one more powerful than the Lord.

Let us examine The Importance of Christ’s Name.

Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God. And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God,”  1 Corinthians 6:9-11.
